Description

Orhora is a white wine based on the varieties Verdicchio, Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc. The Verdicchio vineyard is located on the top of the hill at 430 metres a.s.l., with a Nord-East exposure and constant dry breeze. It is the first vineyard to see the new born day and gets slowly pampered by the rays of the sun. The grapes are hand-picked early in the morning and then immediately brought and processed in the winery. Each varieties is fermented separately, Verdicchio is partly barrel-fermented and partly stainless steel tanks fermented, while Viognier and Sauvignon Blanc are barrel-fermented. The barrels are all used, the aging of the wine in barriques and stainless steel tank take at least 5 months. The wine obtained is complex, fresh, with a good structure and acidity.
